The Valais Association of Electricity Producers (AVPEE) represents individuals, companies or public bodies owning or directly operating on behalf of a producer one or more power plant(s) in the Valais region. Founded in 1960, today the AVPEE represents 44 member companies.
The Association aims to foster closer contact between members while also developing and promoting their interests.
Conscious of its responsibilities particularly in terms of security, each summer the AVPEE launches a huge awareness-raising campaign regarding the risks associated with rivers.
